Joe Zinkgraf

Joe grew up in New Braunfels, Texas. Being the youngest son in a family of seven, he was greatly influenced by the godly environment he was raised in. When he was 6yrs old he made a decision to trust Christ, and has been learning the depth, priority, and joy of that relationship ever since.
After being homeschooled in elementary school, he attended and graduated from New Braunfels Christian Academy where he participated in basketball, baseball, choir, band (trumpet), and tennis (for 1 tournament!). During high school, Joe began working with TbarM camps, which would continue through the next 6yrs. Because of camp and the youth group Joe was involved with, he began to see God’s pull on his life towards youth.
At Dallas Baptist University, Joe graduated with a bachelors AND masters in business administration. While attending DBU, he remained active in intramural sports, along with other ministries like area d-nows, basketball evangelism, and other opportunities through his church.
On February 21st, of 2010, God opened the door for him to join the ministry at Lakeside as their minister to students. Soon after on April 24th, Joe married the one-and-only…MEAGAN Zinkgraf!!!
Every new day, the Zinkgraf’s have grown to see the blessing and faithfulness of the Lord through the Lakeside family. What a joy it is to see Him work!
Random Facts:
Joe is colorblind, is the youngest person on staff (including Meagan!), cannot do the number “3” on his left hand (ask him to show you), his favorite sports to personally play are basketball and volleyball, Indiana Jones is the movie he watches most (although he could watch John Wayne movies ALL DAY LONG), and does the majority of his shopping on Amazon.com…o yeah!
