Prayer Ministry

While Lakeside Baptist Church's mission is to glorify God, one of the means through we attempt to accomplish this task is through the ministry of prayer. We believe that the life and success of this church depends upon God's people bowing the knee and exalting the Savior through private and corporate times of prayer. One of the main areas through which we do this is through our Watchman Prayer Ministry.

A Watchman is a prayer warrior who has answered God's call to commit to pray for our Jerusalem, Lakeside B.C. You will pray for a designated hour each week and then call the Watchman after you to pass along the watch, so there will not be any gaps in the Wall. A Watchman Prayer Alert is published monthly with prayer requests of the ministers, ministries, families, and friends of our Church.

Where2 is an extension of Lakeside's Watchman Prayer Ministry and is based on Matthew 18:19-20. Our Where2 prayer warriors are available to pray with you. You can spot them by their iPray nametag worn during our Worship Services and they are most visible during the invitation time. We have Where2 Houses of Prayer where we meet in homes and pray for the anointing of God to increase His kingdom on earth. Lakeside also has a Prayer Conference Line which is another opportunity for uniting in prayer.
