Why have a Women's Ministry? Titus 2:3-5 tells us to learn from older women how to behave with reverence, to be kind, self controlled, and pure, busy loving our husbands and children so no one can malign the Word of God.

Our purpose is to glorify God by means of:

1. Encouraging women to grow in the Word.
2. Equipping women to serve.
3. Evangelizing the lost.

Who do we serve? This ministry exists to meet the needs of women 18 years and older who are members of Lakeside Baptist Church. We offer a safe place of laughter, friendship, encouragement, spiritual growth, prayer, and opportunities to serve.

Current Women's Ministry Teams include:

4. Frazzled Female Retreat, Taryn Morris
5. Girlfriends Events (fun and fellowship), Kay Fox

Our vision for the future includes reaching women through small groups, developing new leaders, speakers, writers, and ministries as God leads, hosting Christian women's conferences at Lakeside, and leaving a legacy that allows others to see just how big God really is!
