The purpose of the Lakeside Women’s Ministry is to encourage and to equip women through prayer, Bible Study, worship, service, evangelism, and fellowship. Our desire is to grow toward maturity in Christ so we may serve God more effectively in our homes, our church, and our community. We seek to glorify God in all we do.

 

“The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things—that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, good homemakers, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.” Titus 2:3-5

 

What will Women’s Ministry at Lakeside look like going forward?

You can play a part in answering that question. Each of you has the opportunity to participate, and church members can lead in ministry this next year. The Women’s Ministry Committee has heard many women voice their hunger for deeper Bible study; some of you have expressed an interest in doing ministry for the elderly in nursing homes; most of you desire more time to fellowship with other women.

 

Whatever the Lord is laying on your heart to do, make these plans to do it:

          1) Pray that God will give you direction for leading a particular event or activity for the women of Lakeside;

          2) Grab a friend who shares your passion and plan the event together;

          3) Submit your plan for a women’s ministry activity or event to the Women’s Ministry Committee by printing and filling out the form                    below. You can leave the completed form in the church office or give it to a Women’s Ministry Committee member.
