Children's Ministry

Did you know that 85% of people who come to Jesus do so before the age of 18? Children are not just the church of tomorrow; They are the church of today! You are making an eternal impact by serving in the Children's Ministry.

Note: All Children's Ministry Volunteers must complete and maintain a current background check through Lakeside Baptist Church, have attend Lakeside 6+ months, and must be a minimum of 14 years old (18+ for leadership and teaching roles).

Student Ministry
Small Group Leaders
Each Sunday morning we gather together in small groups to discuss God’s word together, our Small Group Leaders facilitate discussion and guide conversation with a student specific curriculum. This is a two hour a week commitment plus your own study of the materials.
Midweek Adult Volunteer
Each Wednesday evening we have our larger group student meeting. At Midweek we play games, enjoy each others company and study the Word of God together in one large group. Adult Volunteers are invited to build relationship with the students, help with game setup, and help our students to grow in their faith by being a Godly example to them. If teaching isn’t something you feel comfortable doing right now, being an Adult Volunteer is an excellent way to serve the Lord in student ministry. This is a two hour a week commitment.
Worship Ministry
Worship Team
Our Worship Team serves weekly in our 10:30am worship service. It is open to church members of all ages and with all types of musical gifts (vocal and instrumental). The prerequisites for serving on the worship team are church membership, faithful attendance, and a love for Jesus.
Media Team
From the sound board, screens to live stream we have several opportunities to serve on our media team. You will train beside some of our current team and be added into a rotation when you are ready. We are always looking for people to serve on Sunday mornings in the sound booth, in our Kids Church, and even on other events like Awana or Kids Beach Club, weddings and sadly sometimes funerals. If you have ever wanted to delve into the world of media, this is a great place to start.
Senior Adults
Visit
We are always looking for people who are willing and able to visit members of our church who are unable to get out of their homes. If you would like to serve in this very important ministry click the volunteer button below.
S.T.A.R.S.
The Senior Adult Ministry at Lakeside is known as STARS which stands for Seniors Taking Active Roles in Service. STARS is a place to connect with adults 55 and older. The Lakeside STARS ministry exists to reach adults with the gospel of Christ and assist them as they mature into the Christian God intends them to be!
